What Causes Red Mark On Lower Back After Weight Lifting?

Hi, I am Nick I have a very much physical job and was always one to enjoy sports. I think I moved my back a weird way a year ago and ever since my back has never felt the same. It's not unbearable pain but it is something that likely exists. Today after the gym I earned a red mark on my lower back and pain using heavy weights.
