What Causes Red Patches On My Scalp With Discharge?

I have red patches on my scalp including one that is long and thin (almost like a scar) that is red and oozes until it dries and crustifies. It's sensative to the touch but not super sensative. Sensative enough though to avoid combing my hair too hard in that spot
