What Causes Red Pimples On The Right Of The Abdomen?

I have developed patches of red pimples on the right side of my stomach. it doesnt itch much but still turn more red when i scratch. consulted a doctor and was told its because of heat of my stomach, asked me to avoid hot and oily foods, but didnt advised what to eat. please help !
