What Causes Red Rash Around The Eyes Post Fever Bout?

I had flu symptoms since yestedray (high temperature, musle ache, sleep problems and headache). Today the fever is gone, i still feel weak. I just now discovered a small rash around my eyes (a few red dots). The rash isn't irritating me, in fact I cannot feel it. My eyes are burning but that could be due to lack of sleep.
