What Causes Red Rashes On Back Of Hand?

I have a red rash on the back of my hand. It is not raised, does not itch or hurt. Have had it for about 2 weeks now. It fades then comes back. Could it be a reaction to meds which I stopped a week or so prior? Or a reaction to rubber gloves I used? Or a bite of some kind? I garden all the time.
