What Causes Red Spot In Eye?

im so nervous and scared i woke up with a red spot in my eye its tiny its on my left eye i dont know why i have it is it becuase of my sleeping or what i need help and also i turned on the flash light into my eye because i was looking at my eye while in the dark the reddish brown dot scares me help anyone one im ALL ALONE NO HELP IM CRYING I DONT WANT GLASSES.
