What Causes Red Spots Mostly All Over My Body?

hello, i have red spots mostly all over my body my arms underneath my arms my chest my stomach back, neck and now its spreading down to my thigh's i recently went to my doctors about a week ago but they told me they will automatically go away on there own but they seem to be getting worse, there not itchy at all though, just wondering if you can tell me what they are?
