What Causes Red Spots On Abdomen And Chest?

I have a red spot on my syomach asof yesterday. Today another exact same red spot appeared on my chest. Could this be the start of a virus. I plan on keaving a trip back East on the 11th of April & I m concerned this could be the begining of something that might keep me from traveling.
