What Causes Red Spots On Back Of Hand?

I noticed red spots on the back of my left hand Thursday around my thumb and pointer finger. They are pin sized. Started with about 5 now I have between 20-30. Its also started on my right hand as well fewer spots that small but a larger one over the first joint of my thumb. I'm rather worried because I was diagnosed with morphea localized on my face in the right corner of my mouth when I was 15 after a biopsy ... I'm a healthy 22 yr old female and its frightening that it maybe coming back somewhere else ... I've had the spots for 5 days now, the color has changed from bright red to almost a brown maroon color ....
