What Causes Red Spots On Corner Of Eyes?

I have some red spots around the corner of both of my eyes, and it burns when I apply lotion. I had this problem last week, but it went away when I showered and slept at another house. I also used a steroid cream on it. I use the exact same products in both locations, but I went back to my house where I had originally got it, and it came back again. I am trying to figure out what is triggering this reaction. Thanks
