What Causes Red Swollen Eyes With Greenish Discharge?

Hi, My two daughters were diagnosed with pink eye 3 days ago. I seem to have gotten it from her. I have swollen eyes, redness, greenish discharge, and a lot of pain/pressure around my eyes. I also have a HORRIBLE sore throat, ear pain and some congestion. Could this be related to the pink eye or something else? I do not have insurance and I am trying to decide whether to go to a doctor. Thank you
