What Causes Reddening Of Skin In Hands Followed By Peeling Of Skin?

Please type your query here...my daughter is 15months she started 2 weeks ago having red blochy hands then they got worse they went really red and swollen i took her to the doctors and he prescibed a cream and said its something she has touched so i tried the cream and she got worse then her hands started peeling from the fingertips and are so dry i stopped using the cream and just use mosturiser then she got a rash all over her legs she has no ill symtoms no fever nothing.now her toes are also starting to peel i dont know what is wrong i also put her back on formula thinking it may be milk but no improvement as yet..
