What Causes Reddish Brown Discharge That Turned Into White In Color?

Hello, I'm 15 on birth control and recently had redish brown discharge. Now it's white. Im supposed to have my period around the 23 or so but I have light cramps. I just need the discharge explained and I also just finished my riser pack as well. Please help, thank you!
