What Causes Reddish Line From Heel To Foot Surface?

I have had athletes foot , or at least I think it is for close to a year. Ive tried over the counter topical and antifungal spray which has not seemed to help. Recently I have found a long red line from the bottom of my foot up to the side of my foot near the top. Should I be worried about blood poisining?
