What Causes Reddish Scaly Rash From Groin To Knees?

I have a rash but its spreading from my groin down my legs to my knees. It started on my right ankle thinking it was a spider bit but has been there for a long time and it is on my right side of my stomach. It is always red sometimes scaly . What is this rash .
