What Causes Reddish Skin On Soles And Between Toes?

On the back of both of my feet and toes and between some of the toes the skin has discolored to a red color. There is no discomfort such as pain or itchiness just the discoloration. Also, the discoloration is present immediately beneath the cuticle of the large toe on each foot. The nails on the large toes have white areas and I suspect that might be a fungus infection. Any thoughts on the red discoloration?
