What Causes Redness And Bumps Around Mouth And Lips?

I have redness and bumps around my mouth and lips. I have had this for almost 2 months now. It started as a cold sore and now I don't know what it is. The bumps release pus too. Also, it itches and burns a lot. I have already used Eletone and Zovirax, but they made it go away for 1 or 2 days and then it came back even worse. What do you think this is? Please help!
