What Causes Redness And Bumps On The Eyelids?

My right eyelid was red along the upper lash line for two days. I self-treated with a small amount of cortisone cream thinking it was irritation caused by a highly fragranced make up wipe remover. The redness went a way but as the morning progressed I felt as if I had an eyelash stuck in the inner corner of the same eye. When I looked for the eyelash, nothing was there, but as I shined the flash light, I noticed what appear to be small bumps on the same area (the small, pink lump of tissue that sits in the inner corners of your eye). It feels dry and irritated. I definitely rubbed my eye too much yesterday which could be the cause.
