What Causes Redness And Burning Sensation In The Eye With Discharge?

For 4 days my eyes have been very bloodshot, dry then watery, burning, puffy, and stuck shut in morning with very little crust or mucous like material. I started flushing with clear eyes drops. the initial pain with the first application after a few hours is stinging and unbearable. my eye sockets feel bruised and there is tremendous pressure when I bend over, squat down and stand up
