What Causes Redness And Itchiness In Cheek?

I shaved about two days ago while I had a pimple on my cheek and a smaller one on my jawline. Within a quick time my right cheek and it was slightly swollen and sore. I at first though these were pimples that had been aggravated but they don't seem like they are pimples now. The redness has slightly gone down as has the swelling but now it's just itchy and still slightly red. I haven't shaved in a few days now as I'm worried about making it worse.
