What Causes Redness And Itching At The Base Of My Tailbone?

Suddenly discovered redness and itch 3 sq inches at the base of my tailbone. Am on no medication, 60 years female 124 lbs. 5'4" , work at computer 5 hours/day. Otherwise active run and exercise frequently. No other history of skin problems except allergy to poisin ivy
