What Causes Redness And Small Pimples On Top Of Hands And Fingers?

I have redness of the tops of my hands and the sides of my fingers and what appears to be little pimples. Prior to that they used to come in the form of clear water boils that took the top layer of my skin off. I have quit taking any Tylenol and hydrocodone and now I have no more boils but the redness and little pimples and still continue, not getting any more but what can I do to help my fragile hands?
