What Causes Redness And Swelling In Throat With Red Dot On One Side?

I've been sick for 2 wks with sinus infection. It was green and went to my throat and in my chest. My chest was hurting also. I have had sore throat for 2wks also. Still some pain in throat and slight cough. Now the top of my mouth on both sides in swollen red, and there is pain and a red dot on one side.
