What Causes Redness Around My Areola?

Im 14 years old and there is redness around my areola. Its feels sort of like a rash but it doesn't hurt or itch, and its not even tender when I touch it. I haven't been using any new detergent or anything either. Could it just be an irritation of some sort. Help?
