What Causes Redness At The Sides Of Mouth?

I have been experiencing redness around the sides of my mouth, going under my bottom lip (chin area) for about 5-6 weeks now. There are also small pimple looking spots that quickly disapear and then the whole area gets flacky. It itches some and also feels a bit like pin pricks. Any ideas??
