What Causes Redness Of Palatopharyngeal Arch And Ear?

Hi, my palatopharyngeal arch is really red on my right side along with my right ear. No fever. Chills. I take extra vitamin C everyday. It s been like this for a while. I have some amoxicillion at home and very tempted to take it till I go to my doctor next tuesday.
