What Causes Reduced Appetite And Vomiting During Post Chiari Malformation Surgery?

My mother of 57 had a chari1 malformation surgery last monday and was home the same week on thursday... Since she has been home her appitite has declined and saturday she vomitted four times... She states that the meds are making her sick, I know shes not suppose to cough vomite or strain to hav a poop.... she also had tonight that she doesn t feel that she needs to go back to the hospital but im not to sure..... What should I do
