What Causes Restless Leg Pain While On Medication?

My wife has been taking this drug for about a week now. The first night it seemed to do the trick. However, every night after taking the medicine, the following day about lunch time or maybe a little after, her restless legs pain comes on again she is now taking 300 mg. Would it hurt her to take to 300mg more? Or should she go to her doctor first?
