What Causes Right Sided Numbness In Torso?

Hi im having a numb feeling on the right side of my torso it feels like when you go to the dentist an the dentist give you novacaine an you touch your face its that kind of numb feeling and im also having pain every time I breathe in the same area doctors I go to dont know what the numbness is can you help me cause its starting to spread.
