What Causes Right Sided Radiating Pain From Back To Lung?

I had a tight spot on the right side of my back last night. Then at 1:00 a.m. I had terrible pain on the right side of my back through to my right lung and sternum until 3:00 a.m. Today, my symptoms are much better but my breathing is a little painful when I take a deep breath.
