What Causes Right-sided Soreness In Right Eye?

On the right side of my right eye it is sore behind its socket. I notice it when I blink. Also, rubbing my right temple seems to help alleviate some of the pain. Its nowhere near bad, and hardy annoyes me, but its my eye, so I'm feel as if I should know... Any idea what the cause would be?
