What Causes Ringing In Ears With Clogged Sinuses?

For about a month now, I have been suffering from ringing in my left ear, clogged sinuses, and my head feels as if I have been on a plane. I was prescribed predisone but so far it hasn t done much good. I have a referral in to see a ENT and allergist next week. I also break out in hives every night itching and turning red for about 10-15 minutes. Could the ringing be related to seasonal allergies? YYYY@YYYY
