What Causes Ringing In The Ears And BP Level Being 152/92?

Hi, my husband is a diabetic, takes metformin and victoza, recently increased the dose of victoza. he also takes lotrel 5/20 for high b/p. Recently BP has been a bit elevated and today he is having ringing in the ears and BP is at 152/92. Should he take another dose of the lotrel? Could the increased dose of victoza be the cause?
