What Causes Rise In Palpitations After Taking Calaptin?

I am taking calaptin 40since last 8 yrs.some times I feel my palpitations so doctor advice me to take calaptin 40 --3 times a day. I am out of station now and my palpitations becomes high 3-4 time in a day.Should I increase my dosage. I am also taking thyoronorm 50 mcg
