What Causes Running Nose, Continuous Sneezing, Headaches And Burps On Cold Days?

Hello, This problem is related to my husband, where in he has cold every day the symptoms are running nose, continuous sneezing, sometimes he gets headaches (not very frequent), spiting of mucus early in the morning for few hours till the day has not reached its peak, also along with this he also gets burps frequently..this problem is seen from his childhood... his father also has similar symptoms but as of now he does not face such problems.. kindly guide...
