What Causes Salty Taste On Lips And Tongue?

what would cause a salty taste on lips and tongue even thou I haven t had any on my food? I also had two reactions to processed sea salt by the Ideal Protein, swollen lower lip with the bottom edge a white line, a burning tingly feeling and red rash around the mouth. Would this be a reaction to the processing involved with their sea salt brand or am I possibly developing a condition with sensitivity to certain salt?
