What Causes Scab Like Pimples In Children?

My toddler had some bites I think from fleas they re all healing but he has one bright red pimple type spot on his hip with a yellowish centre that is scabbing with a gold yellows crust. Only this one spot is like it though, it has not spread anywhere else.
