What Causes Scar In Site Of BCG Injection?

Hi, my girlfriend had her BCG vaccine a good few years ago and a red angry looking spot has come up on the BCG scar (area), i have tried googleling it but cant find nothing about it :( please help, she is worried, is this serious?? thanks a million in advance
