What Causes Sciatic Pain In Hip Along With Pinched Nerve In Groin Area?

I have I have 2,3,4,&5 vertebrae fused. About a year later, I experienced sciatic pain in my right hip when standing more than 10 minutes. Have no pain in my leg, but lately have what I feel like a pinched nerve in my right groin, rending my leg useless for about 2-3 seconds. Are the two things connected? 32m3m4m5
