What Causes Seeing Of Black Line At Distal End Of Eye?

I had cataract removal last week as the pupil constricted I began to notice a black line at the distal end of my eye. I doesn t impede my vision at all. Depending on how I move my eye I don t always see it. If I bring my hand up to it, it disappears. Just wondering if it s permanent or temporary.
