What Causes Seizure Attack While Donating Blood Plasma?

My 20 year old daughter has donated plasma previously with no issues. Today she donated and about the time she was done she passed out and apparently had what appeared to be a seizure -- the nurses there told her eyes also rolled back as well. How common is this and what could be the cause? She assures me she was well hydrated prior to the donation.
