What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain Under The Ribcage?

I am having sever right abdominal pain right under my rib cage...I think it is a little swollen...this has been going on for a week. The Dr has ran several test and said he not sure what is going on...I can t take the pain anymore...a ct test was Don on Sunday. Today is friday. What should I do...I am hurting bad
