What Causes Severe Constipation Along With Foul Smelling Sticky Stools?

I have never been regular at going to the toilet but it is getting worse I can go 7 to 10 days at a time be fore going but then I have a few days where I go it starts very small hard balls and over a few days gets softer and bigger but it is very smelly and sticky I have wind all the time which also is smelly. I am 47 year old female please help
