What Causes Severe Cramps After Cyst Removal Surgery?

Hi, i just had operation to remove ruptured cysts on ovaries. my ovary was enlarged confirmed polycystic ovary syndrome. had growth removed as well. 2 weeks later im haveing severe cramping, it feels like im burning. its there all day. is this common after this kind of surgery?
