What Causes Severe Emotional Instability Before Menstruation While On Nexplanon?

Hello! I m a 23 year old female and I m using Nexplanon for birth control. I have been on it for 6 months now and consistently my hormones go crazy the week before my period. Is it best to remove the nexplanon and try another form of birth control, like the pill? Or is there an option of taking a pill while using nexplanon that helps regulate my hormones..so that I don t have to remove the Nexplanon from my arm?
