What Causes Severe Headaaches?

49 year old female 5'4 125 lbs I had an ASD clouser in NOV 2010.

It is still leaking and latest test results show an ASD with grade 1PFO

Is this normal? my headaches are still brutal and have had another TIA since surgeryDr does not seem concerned.....JC
