What Causes Severe Itching After Taking Polst-chlor For Cough?

I took hyd polst-chlor pols last night for my cough and sore throat. I have been itching all night and since I got up it is worse. No hives or anything I can see on my skin. I looked at the ingredients and I have had hydrocodone before. Anything else in it can cause this reaction?
