What Causes Severe Itching And Redness On Jock?

i am a 19 year old male...i think i was suffering from jock itch for a few weeks..so for that i started using betnovate-c for the rash...it used to be dry and very itchy..after some usage of cream it started to decrease...but now at one side its almost gone and the the skin of the other side has become very red and is very very itchy and help?
