What Causes Severe Itching In Pubic Region?

Ho good nite this is embrassing but very irritating I have this severe itch when my pubic hair grows back close between my thighs close to my vagina. My vagina does not itch just by thighs so irritating I stracth sometimes till my skin is rub and red how to deal with this . please
