What Causes Severe Itching On Legs And Thighs?

Dr. I am sangeetha from Bhubaneswar. I have a skin problem esp. on my scalp with some whitish flakes and itching on the skin esp on legs and thighs. and my near by doctor refer it as skin condition known as seborrheic dermatitis and endogenous dermatitis. He prescribed macqned 8mg and Hyporal 250 mg with some sampoo. But I came to know there two tablets are causing some side effcst. is it necessary to take these medicines. Please advise me.
